Acknowledgements for Australian Chinese Community drought relief donation event

In Parliament today, a number of Members, on behalf of the State Government, thanked the Chinese Australian community for its generosity to the rural community during the drought.

It took ACYEC less than a month to hold a number of events to raise money, and finally raised more than 120,000 dollars, which was handed over to Buyabale for direct use of farmers affected by the drought.

In the worst drought in a century, Chinese Australians have turned their love for this beautiful land into action. Shows the impact of Australian values on the communities.
